Elvis Costello on Alzheimer's

Watching the CBS Sunday Morning program this morning, I was pleased to see a profile on one of my rock heroes, Elvis Costello. He spoke about a song I know well. I had no idea about its meaning. Turns out, it's about his grandmother and her affliction.

Costello had the beginnings of a song about his grandmother grappling with Alzheimer's. "So we made it, 'Veronica,' into a pop record that actually got onto the radio even though it's speaking about the unraveling of the mind."
